Randolph I dislike so many management phrases and terms. One which particularly annoys me is “unpack”. Today, an article in the local news says “Kebble fraud unpacked”.
Say what? To my mind, this means that there was a box labelled “Kebble Fraud”, and someone unpacked it. However, what they MEAN is that fraud was discovered after a forensic investigation into the business dealings of murdered businessman Brett Kebble. No box. No unpacking.
