Randolph News24 invited the abovementioned obliviot into a debate with Glenn de Swardt of the gay and lesbian association Triangle Project.
Here’s the part where I say that every single argument proposed by the obliviot is either biblically motivated (i.e. religious), or irrelevant.
The argument for same-sex marriage is simple: we want the same legal status, benefits and responsibilities that are afforded to heterosexual marriages. This has f*ckall to do with religion, and we don’t want approval from the church.
