According to Variety, Vimeo is going private:
Bending Spoons, based in Milan, Italy, has acquired a number of digital technology businesses, including Evernote, Issuu, Meetup, Remini, StreamYard, Splice and WeTransfer. The company claims its products are currently used by more than 300 million people each month.
After Vimeo said they would double their subscription price, I was on the way out anyway, so this tipped the scales. I’ve moved to YouTube, which is probably more evil because of Google. That’s not saying much, and I was on there anyway.
Speaking of YouTube, I have posted some videos there under different channels.
You can see the full recording of my first ever Calgary Fringe Festival show, which I performed on 5 August 2025. One of the stories from that show is about me blowing up a microwave, which is only 7 minutes long. Sadly the audio for the recording wasn’t that great. I created some captions, so please turn those on.
My acting demo reel from a decade ago is on there.
If you’re a fan of independent film, I have two short films as well up there: NIGHT CALL and SUBURBAN TRAUMA. (If you like Easter eggs, here’s an unfinished film I worked on with some friends.)
