Randolph With http://ncane.com growing steadily (almost 500 URLs shortened!), I am about to launch another service with a partner who has been helping me on it for a couple of years.
Let’s put this in perspective though: I had the idea in 2001, and asked some people to help me. For various reasons, those people couldn’t do it. In 2004 I approached this new guy. He said yes, and agreed to take half of my business as payment. Well, it seemed like a good idea then, and I think it’s still a good idea now 🙂

EDIT: 2012-08-21. Still not launched. A new developer, under contract, is building the new version of this project with the latest technology. Fingers still crossed, but I’m glad I didn’t hold my breath!
