An 8 year old boy died in hospital hours after being rescued from drowning by paramedics and so forth. See related link.
This is not what's very sad. What is sad is that the father of the boy is suing the hospital for negligence because the boy was "fine".
Listen up, Mr Nkomo. It's terrible that you son died. I cannot argue with that. It's terrible that he was saved from drowning only to die later in hospital. I cannot argue with that either. However, it's terrible that you have to pin the blame on someone. He probably died from shock.
Until a proper inquest has been done to establish what happened, going the legal route is not going to solve anything. The hospital did not trap your son under water for a number of hours. They probably did everything by the book.
It makes me sad.
