The related link refers. Deloitte has shown how easy it is to hack into Intranets and cellphones. While the former is old news, I'd like to bring up the matter of cellphones.
If you've got Bluetooth on your phone, turn it OFF if you're not using it. Don't get taken in by anyone who you don't trust implicitly – in other words, unless you activate Bluetooth to actually transmit or receive information that you want and are in full control of, don't do it. Then, when you do turn it on, don't make your phone discoverable unless it's absolutely necessary.
Last year my school where I was teaching was swamped by a Bluetooth virus that attacked Nokia phones specifically. Even staff were not safe. Except me, because I didn't have Bluetooth switched on. Not one of my cellular phones has ever been infected with any virus, and my latest two phones (P900 and K-JAM) are quite advanced technologically.
Oh, one more thing: READ THE F*CKING MANUAL!
