Randolph Here I sit, having repaired what Parallels did to M's new iMac, only to find coincidentally that my own 300GB drive had failed. Naturally, this was the drive containing my personal data, so I am wildly enamoured as you can imagine.
Fortunately, I was able to find a way to run CHKDSK against the drive, so it appears (so far) to be index errors only. Unfortunately, I had to reinstall Windows XP Pro to run CHKDSK.
I really hate computers right now.
