Randolph For my 35th birthday, M took me on a Caribbean cruise, on the Allure of the Seas, from Fort Lauderdale to Labadee, Costa Maya and Cozumel. It was possibly the best holiday I’ve ever had, notwithstanding the awesome holidays I’ve had in the past. So without getting all gushy, I’d highly recommend this sort of thing if you want to see the world, and it’s très romantic.
As for motion sickness, I highly recommend the patch you stick behind your ear. It lasts around three days and is good for ships and planes. There are some minor side-effects, but worth it.
Time is closing in on my SQL “holiday”, and I’m still watching videos and reading. This is less exciting than cruising the Caribbean, but I’m still learning interesting things.
