Now they want us to believe that SA passports are being replaced by SADC passports, and a region-specific currency too. As if!
On Zimbabwe and April Fool’s Day
Firstly, Zimbabwe. I think the delay in announcing results is unnecessary, and causing more stress than necessary. Having said that, I also think it is counterproductive to announce winners and losers before the results are out. As I understand the Zimbabwean constitution, the president is declared based on 50% plus one vote. The same goes for the parliamentary seats.
