Going wireless
Sentech, Linksys, Airport. We're wireless, baby. Now if only I can get my WLAN card to work on my PC, we could lose the switch too.

My email is gone (well, a large chunk between May and November), and I've only got an older version of the ShutOff 2000 source code (2.8.1, which is one point release old, and I know what I changed), but the rest is recoverable, or recreatable.
My brother got married yesterday, to a lovely girl (woman) called Claudi. The venue was awesome, as was the food and the service (both the church and the restaurant service). Harrison's on 12th, in Rivonia, gets two thumbs up. I even proposed a little toast to my mother and the bride and groom.
Assuming my backups work (I still don't have a stable system to test), and assuming I can't recover my two months of data loss now, I have some software to rewrite. Yay, etc.

So.
Now two of four drives aren't detecting in the BIOS. I am very unhappy.
Here I sit, having repaired what Parallels did to M's new iMac, only to find coincidentally that my own 300GB drive had failed. Naturally, this was the drive containing my personal data, so I am wildly enamoured as you can imagine.
P35 motherboard, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.6GHz, 4GB RAM, 2 x 500GB HDD, 1 x 80GB HDD, 1 x 300GB HDD, 2 x 19" LCDs (when M gets his iMac, I get his screen), and all of that ruined by Windows Vista.
My fonts are corrupting again in Vista, the cause of the reinstall last time. I've decided to remove all fonts pre 2006 in the Fonts folder for now to see if that helps.
