I stand to be corrected, but I believe "amandla" means "power to the people". Last night, during an episode of Crumbs, the electricity went out in our neighbourhood. It came back on again some time this morning.

I've just sent an email to Mr Colin Hickling, Chairman of Sentech. I hope I figured out the email address correctly.

Their own FAQ states:

I converted (after much trial and tribulation) to a "Flexi" account with Sentech recently. Under the Flexi account, I have a cap of 3GB, which according to my understanding, is reset on the first day of each month.

Thanks to the Vatican City, "The Nativity Story" is another reason why I hate Christmas.

I've written five pages of letter (1.5 spacing, justified, 2" margins) to Sentech, which took me a shade over 100 minutes to compose. If you want to read it, I'll put it on the blog, but it is long. I'm posting it via registered mail on 13 November (Monday).

I collected a letter from the post office today. The registered letter slip said it was delivered on 2 November 2006. This was deposited under my door by the post office this week only.

It appears that the SABC is scared of ICASA. I had two senior people jump up and down to resolve my refund (see earlier post). <sarcasm>Amazing.</sarcasm>

I pay my TV licence. I'm told it's the right thing to do. Plus, it's illegal if I don't, and if I get caught I am liable to a fine and prison time.
